Bead Work

I enjoy incorporating a variety of beads into my paintings to create dimensional surfaces that invite closer exploration.

The three-dimensional elements add depth, texture, and a distinctive luminosity, allowing the artwork to interact with light in a way that brings each piece to life. I am continually inspired by the richness and visual interest these embellishments provide, creating works that engage viewers from both near and far.

During the Reno Tahoe International Art Show, several visitors shared that they were drawn to my work from across the exhibition hall before they even realized the intricate beadwork was part of the composition. Knowing that these details capture attention while rewarding closer observation is one of the most gratifying aspects of my creative process.
